Classic-styled break-barrel air rifle Fenix 400 from the world famous Spanish manufacturer Cometa has managed to conquer the heart of many airgunners. This time, however, we’re dealing with an expanded version of the Star. It boasts a stock with an adjustable cheekpiece compared to the classic version. As for the other elements, they are practically unchanged.

However, what is always a treat to see in the Comet rifles, is without a doubt the wooden stock. This is no different. The beautifully crafted beech stock impresses at first glance with its ambidextrous cheekpiece and decorative engravings at the grip points. The whole is then finished with a rubber buttpad for greater comfort during long holding.

When shooting, you can rely on a high-quality rifled barrel with a length of 450 mm, mechanical sights with light-fibre (fixed red-fibre front sight and fully adjustable green-fibre rear sights) – these can be replaced by a rifle scope thanks to the presence of an 11mm dovetail rail, and a fully adjustable trigger (weight, travel).

We also cannot forget the question of safety, which the manufacturer answers with an automatic safety. This is automatically locked each time it is cocked. To disarm it, simply slide it forward.
